Educational Workshop Participant Agreement
Workshop Guidelines and Terms
This educational workshop is intended for adults only and participation is limited to individuals aged 18 years and older.
The educational workshop is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a replacement for therapy or professional treatment. We do not diagnose or recommend any specific treatment.
As part of the workshop, we may provide informational resources and references to community or other relevant contacts. However, any information provided is based on our training and experience, and we cannot be held responsible for any misinterpretation or actions taken based on this information.
The workshop is conducted by licensed professionals who are knowledgeable and experienced in the subject matter being presented.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions and engage in discussions during the workshop. A dedicated section will be provided for questions and discussions to enhance the learning experience.
A respectful learning environment is of utmost importance. Any misconduct, including but not limited to disrespectful behavior towards fellow participants or workshop facilitators, may result in the participant being asked to leave the workshop.
Confidentiality and Equality
We respect the confidentiality of current patients and their families. If you are a current patient or family member of a patient, we advise you to use discretion when participating in this workshop, as disclosure of your relationship with our organization is at your own risk. We cannot guarantee confidentiality in an educational workshop setting where other participants may be present.
We strive to create a culture of zero discrimination based on gender, race, or any other factor. We believe in treating participants with dignity, respect, and fairness. Therefore, we do not tolerate any form of language or behavior that discriminates against individuals due to their gender, race, or any other protected characteristic. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment that acknowledges diverse gender identities and expressions, including LGBTQ+ individuals. As a part of this, we urge all participants to respect each other's preferred pronouns and avoid making assumptions based on gender identity or sexual orientation. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the participant being asked to leave the workshop.
Refund Policy
There will be no refunds unless there is an emergency or death. Please carefully consider your commitment to attending the workshop before registering.
Health and Safety
We take the health and safety of our participants seriously. However, we cannot be held responsible if a participant contracts COVID-19 during the workshop. Participants should take necessary precautions and follow local health guidelines to minimize their risk.
Children are not allowed to accompany participants during the workshop. Please make necessary arrangements for childcare as we cannot take responsibility for children left unattended.
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. We are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged property during the workshop.
Recording Policy
Participants are strictly prohibited from recording any part of the workshop, whether audio, video, or photography, without express permission from the workshop facilitators.
We reserve the right to record workshop sessions for promotional or educational purposes. By participating in the workshop, you grant us the right to use any photographs, recordings, or testimonials featuring you for these purposes.
Liability
Each participant acknowledges that they will be interacting with other participants, and therefore, we cannot be held responsible for any injury, harm, or damages that may occur as a result of these interactions.
